Matt Seymour
back to locationMatt's upbringing was deeply rooted in agriculture, having been born and raised on a beef cattle and hay operation in eastern Kansas. Throughout his youth, he actively engaged in 4-H and FFA, showcasing his talents in cattle and pig showing, as well as participating in various judging competitions including livestock, dairy, and meat.
His academic journey led him to Kansas State University, where he pursued his degree. Following a stint in the advertising industry in Chicago, Matt felt the pull back to his agricultural heritage, prompting his relocation to Texas.
With a fervent curiosity for global farming practices and a keen interest in emerging agricultural technologies, Matt has dedicated himself to understanding how advancements in machinery can enhance farm efficiencies. Previously, he served as a Territory Sales Manager for a European hay, forage, and tillage equipment manufacturer, overseeing operations in the Great Plains and Western United States.
Currently residing near Hunt, Texas, with his wife Jaimie, Matt finds solace and enjoyment in the tranquility of the Texas Hill Country. His passions extend beyond work, as he relishes hunting, fishing, and immersing himself in the natural beauty that surrounds him. During scorching summer days, you'll often find Matt seeking respite in the cooling waters of the Guadalupe River.
