Chris, a lifelong Texas native, spent his formative years in Nacogdoches before relocating to Gatesville in his early teens. Following high school, he pursued college in Houston, where he juggled classes with employment at 84 Lumber Company. There, Chris operated forklifts, loading and unloading railcars and semi-trucks of lumber for construction purposes, as well as driving bobtail trucks to deliver lumber across the greater Houston area.

After completing his college education, Chris found himself uncertain about his career path. He ventured into the automotive industry, starting at Conroe Ford Tractor as a setup technician before advancing to become a tractor technician. As he and his wife anticipated their first child, they decided to return to central Texas for a quieter, small-town lifestyle.

Chris then transitioned to B & C Electric at FT. Hood, TX, working as a class III ground man and pole setter for overhead power line distribution. Subsequently, he joined Cutler Equipment Company in Waco, Texas, as a tractor service technician, where he dedicated many years of service. Following the company's acquisition by Tipton International, Chris assumed the role of service manager until an opportunity arose at Farm Equipment Distributing.

At Farm Equipment Distributing, Chris initially started as an inside salesman but swiftly progressed to oversee purchasing and inside sales management, eventually becoming the operations manager. Through subsequent name changes to Alliance Distributing and its recent acquisition by Arnold Machinery/General Implement Distributors, Chris remained a pivotal figure in the organization.

Outside of work, Chris cherishes time with his family, including his daughters Whitney and Lexi, and sons Kyle and John, as well as his three granddaughters, Makaylie, Ariel, and Lyla. Actively engaged in his community, Chris is a proud member of Crawford, TX Masonic Lodge #585 and the Karem Shrine in Waco, TX.

With a lifelong affinity for the outdoors, Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing, alongside the pleasure of watching his youngest son participate in select baseball. His deep-rooted connection to the agricultural industry ensures his continued dedication to its growth and prosperity in the years to come.
