Scott Tucker
back to locationScott's journey in the farming industry traces back to his childhood, having been raised in a family of farmers in northern Utah. From a young age, he actively participated in farm activities, fondly recalling his early days as a tractor driver, navigating through orchards to spread fertilizer. Their family cultivated a diverse range of crops, including various fruits like pie cherries, peaches, apricots, apples, and plums, alongside staples for their dairy herd such as alfalfa, corn, barley, and grains. Harvest time and tillage season held a special place in Scott's heart, evoking fond memories of family togetherness and hard work.
Following his high school graduation, Scott embarked on a two-year term of volunteer service in Sydney, Australia, before pursuing higher education at Brigham Young University Idaho. It was during this time that he married his high school sweetheart, Brenda, and together, they raised a robust family of four boys and four girls, with several of their children now happily married. As the family continues to expand, Scott and Brenda revel in the joy of over a dozen grandchildren.
In his early career, Scott ventured into the automotive business, eventually owning an automotive repair franchise. However, his passion for agriculture eventually drew him back, leading him to spend numerous years in a dealership in northern Idaho and eastern Washington, where he held various sales and management positions before joining General Implement. Outside of work, Scott finds solace and fulfillment in the great outdoors, indulging in activities such as photography, wildlife observation, fishing, and immersing himself in the beauty of nature. Above all, his greatest joy comes from spending quality time with his beloved family.
