Jim Hove

Jim Hove was born and raised in the small farming community of Westby in the northeast corner of MT. He has been involved in the wholesale farm equipment business for approximately thirty years. He worked on the family farm until 1983 when he and 4 brothers moved to Billings to start a wholesale farm equipment distributorship. They called that venture HOVCO.

Jim was involved with shipping, receiving and delivering of product for several years. Later that business became Countryside Marketing and Jim moved inside to become more involved in the sales part of the business. In 2003 Countryside was purchased by Arnold Machinery and became a branch of General Implement Distributors. Jim continued as an inside sales rep as well as managing a territory in Eastern Mt. In January 2006 Jim took over as branch manager of the Billings Branch.

Jim's hobbies include hunting, fishing and camping. He and his wife Daphne reside in Billings and have 2 grown children who also live and work in Billings.
